Stonehenge:   In the morning at Parade Parade Hotel, my grandpa gave me a miniature Stonehenge.  I watched cartoons on a small T.V. that had only four channels.  The hotel provided breakfast so we got a free breakfast.  We went on a minibus with Mad Max Tours with a guide named Charles.  The first place we stopped was at Stonehenge.  We have one of the pictures I took at Stonehenge on the blog.  Stonehenge is about three-thousand five hundred years old.  After an hour at Stonehenge, we hopped back onto the bus.  The next stop was at the White Horses of Wiltshire, which is not as important as the others. We saw burial mounds along the road from the Beaker People.  Henge means ditch.  our next stop was Woodhenge which is now a bunch of concrete markers.  Next was a major stop, which was at another stone circle named Avebury.  Avebury was mostly not like Stonehenge because the stones were laid out in a very wide circle and none of the rocks were shaped or made formations.  I have a picture of my grandfather sitting in the Devil's Chair which is a strange formation of one of the rocks.  Long ago, some people decided to make Silbury Hill, which is a big hill and the biggest prehistoric manmade object in England.  No one knows what it's purpose was.  We also went to the village of Lacock where they are going to film some of the next Harry Potter movie.  They also had Harry's parents house from the first movie which I have a picture of.  We also went to Lacock Abbey where part of Harry Potter I was filmed.  They were having a scarecrow contest and we took a picture of one of them.  The theme was dogs and cats (Apparently their definition of scarecrow is different than ours!).
